Additional Battery Warranties

Additional warranties allow you to display the length and cost of warranties for batteries. This article covers the following topics:

Creating Additional Warranties

  1. In MissionControl, navigate to the Batteries tab.

  2. At the bottom of the page, open the 'Additional Warranties Settings' modal.

  3. Click 'Add New' button to start creating an additional warranty.

  4. Enter the Name, length and the price of the additional warranty.

  5. The 'Pricing Type' will control the way the cost will calculate.
    1. Per Battery: The warranty price will be multiplied by the quantity of batteries on the proposal
    2. Fixed Cost: The warranty price will be applied to the total cost one time, regardless of the battery quantity.

  6. Click 'Save Warranties'.

Activating Additional Warranties on Specific Battery Options

Once a warranty has been created, it will need to be activated on the specific battery options that you'd like associated with it. To do so, follow these steps:

  1. Open the editor for the battery option you'd like to activate the warranty for.

  2. Open the 'Additional Warranties' dropdown.

  3. Use the toggles next to the warranties to activate the warranty for that battery.

  4. Click 'Update' then 'Save Battery Changes'.
