You can create a new customer from one of two places:
- Clicking 'New Customer' in the top left of Solo
- Within the sidebar, under 'Customers'
Once you're in the customer creation menu, follow these steps:
- Select 'Roofing' as your Customer Type
- If you do not see this as an option, you may not be approved to use your company's roofing template(s), or your company may not have a roofing template. Please reach out to your manager.
- Select which template you'd like for your proposal. Then click 'Next'.
- Fill out your customer's information, including their name, contact information, and address.
- If your company has created any additional sections for the template, complete those as well.
- Review your new customer's information.
- Click 'Create Proposal'.
- This will take you straight to the 'Instant Proposals' tab of customer page. While your roofing design is being completed, you can still view the proposal by clicking 'View' on the right.
- You'll know the proposal design is complete when the proposal's status is 'Ready'. Refresh or reopen your proposal and the design will appear!
