Creating a Dropdown Adder
If you would like to create an adder with a dropdown selection on the proposal, you can do so using a "Select" adder. On the proposal, this will be displayed as a checkbox, and once selected it will display a dropdown list of options:
Follow the steps below to create your own dropdown adder:
- Create a new adder and set the Adder Type to Select:
-
Select the price type from these options: Per Watt, Per Panel, and Fixed Amount.
-
Choose the location on the proposal you would like this adder to populate (either Proposal and Sidebar).
-
For each dropdown option, add a Name and Price. You can also add a Docs Display Name or Efficiency if needed.
-
To create additional dropdown options, press the Add button. Repeat step 4 for any additional options that you add!
-
Once you are done creating your new adder, make sure to press the Update button!
-
Back on the Adders main page, to save all new adders/adder changes, press the Save Adder Changes button.
-
To complete all changes, confirm the changes you've made by pressing the Confirm & Save button.
