Enabling the Toggle
The MissionControl portal is only accessible to users with the SAAS Owner Role.
There are two settings associated with the enabling the ability to toggle off solar to grid exporting. These are:
- Enable Solar Export-to-Grid Toggle - This gives your rep the ability to disable solar to grid exporting on the proposal.
- Solar Export-to-Grid Default - This controls whether the above toggle defaults on or off for your solar proposals.
To adjust these settings, follow these steps:
- In the left side navigation bar, tap into 'Company' and select 'MissionControl'
- In the top menu, scroll to the right and open 'Company Settings'.
- Open the 'Company Settings' dropdown.
- Scroll down until you find the 'Enable Solar Export-to-Grid Toggle' and 'Solar Export-to-Grid Default' options. Use the checkboxes to turn these on or off.
- Click 'Save Setting Changes'.
Toggling Solar to Grid Exporting On the Proposal
If this setting is enabled on your company, you'll be able to disable solar to grid exporting on your solar proposals. It is important to keep in mind that toggling this off will affect savings calculations, as export credits will not be included.

In the proposal sidebar, open the 'Rate Plans' tab.
- Toggle 'Solar Export to Grid'
- Click 'Update'!
One way to see the export data for your customer's solar system is by opening the 'Advanced' window on the 'Battery Optimization Settings' page. Then by scrolling down to the 'Export Sources graph.
With 'Solar Export to Grid' toggled ON:
