Viewing Detailed Utility Information in the Solo Proposal

NOTE: This is a permission-based feature and is not available for all users.

The Utility Bill Info section of the help center gives you the details of what the customer is currently paying the utility company and the estimated amounts they'll pay with the proposed solar system. Here, you'll see a breakdown of the bill, giving you and your customer an understanding of their fixed charges, energy charges, tiered or TOU rates, and more.

  1. To access this information on the proposal, go to the upper-right corner and tap into the sidebar menu.
  2. In the expanded menu, tap on "Utility Bill Info".

  4. The Annual Overview will show the estimated bill amounts for one year, both pre- and post-solar. These amounts are all influenced by the utility cost per kWh, escalation rates, energy consumption, and more.

Utility information found on our proposals come from research done by our Utility Research team. Utilities already listed in Solo are reviewed regularly with our most popular utilities being updated semiannually or even quarterly in some cases, and new utilities are being added constantly. Utility pricing updates are gathered from the specific utility company’s website and/or by phone, talking with solar representatives from the Utility.

If you believe the rates are not current, please contact utility research via utilityresearch@gosolo.io to request verification of rates, NEM, etc.
