Requesting Sign In-Person Documents
Sign in-person allows you and your customers to sign documents all on one device, all from the same place. This can be especially useful when you're in-house with the customer and are looking to quickly sign agreements, without having to wait for each signer to receive the documents in an email.
With sign in-person, documents will not be sent to each signer's email. Instead, all documents will be accessed and signed from Solo, on the same device.
- Navigate to the Docs section of the Customer Information page. and click Request Solar Docs.
- For Sign In-Person, documents cannot be requested through the proposal, it must be from the customer information page.

- Fill out the document request as normal. For more information on filling out a document request, use this article HERE.
- Before submitting the request, check "Sign In Person".
- Click "Request Docs"
- The document request you just made will be listed on the Docs page. Scroll down and click the "Sign In Person" button.
- Even though you're signing in person, signing order remains the same. The first to sign will be the sales rep.

- Clicking "Sign In Person" will open the documents in DocuSign for you, the sales rep, to sign. Once you complete the document(s), click "Finish" in the top right.
- This will then populate the "Sign In Person" button for the next signer, on the same device. Pass the device to the next signer and complete this process until all signers have completed the documents.
- Once all documents are signed, a completed copy will be sent to each signer's email.
