Production estimates are a vital part of designing a solar system. These can help you find the best panel layout for your customer and get a better understanding of how to meet your customer's energy needs. Luckily, a full production analysis is available directly in the Solo Studio design tool, just follow these steps:
- Once you've completed all items in the Design Checklist, the 'Run Production ' button in the bottom left will become available. Click this to begin running the production analysis.
- The production analysis will run, this may take a few moments.
- Once the production analysis has been calculated, the button will update to say 'Complete'.
- Next, open the Production Center on the right to view the system analysis. Here, you'll see an overview of the system's solar potential, including solar access, system losses, monthly/yearly production estimates, and more!
- Use the 'Array' tab at the top to open a breakdown of solar access for each array.
- Hover over each array/panel to view which array/panel is being referenced on the design.
- Click the 'Learn' tab to access resources on maximizing your design's solar potential.
- Use this data to create the best system for your customer's needs!
