Setting up Formula Data Labels
Setting Up Formulas
Formulas are used when we don't have a specific data label for a value, but we do have a way to calculate it based on information that we are able pull.
-
Click and drag the “Formula” standard data label to the field on the document.
-
In the sidebar on the right, under “Edit Forumal”, click “Set Up”:
-
In the set-up modal, enter the formula.
-
The formula must be able to reference data labels already placed within the template, so it might be easier to add the formula after placing all of the other data labels.
-
NOTE: If you ever need to change an existing formula, do not edit it. Instead, replace it with a new formula.
