Syncing Battery & Inverter Quantity with Integrated Battery Systems

This feature will only be available for batteries/inverters that have an established relationship within our backend settings. If you believe there is a battery that features an inverter as part of its integrated battery system, please contact our support team

When a battery that features a built-in inverter is selected on the proposal, you'll be prompted to specify how the inverters should be managed:

Equipment_IntegratedBatteryWarning

You'll have two options:

  • Keep Current Settings: The inverter quantity will remain the same, and will calculate based on the inverter max input settings (for ex: micro-inverters will continue to count one inverter per panel).
  • Auto-Adjust Inverter Quantity: This will sync the inverter quantity to the battery quantity (for example, if there are two batteries selected, there will be an inverter quantity of two).

You'll be able to change this selection at any time, from the equipment selection modal:

Equipment_SyncInverterQuantity

Occasionally, when using this checkbox, the quantity can display as slightly incorrect. To resolve this, try one of two workarounds:

  • Temporarily select a different inverter on the proposal, then switch back to your original desired inverter selection, with the 'sync inverter quantity' checkbox checked on.
  • Temporarily toggle a single panel inactive on the design, then run production. Then, toggle the panel back on and run production again.

If you continue to experience issues after attempting these workarounds, please contact our support team
