Test Out Proposal Templates

SolarNexus can generate just about any kind of document, but sales proposals are by far the most common. Using SolarNexus, you can design your own document template using any number of the almost 300 variables we offer to describe a project's details. But this can be a time consuming effort.

Although many SolarNexus customers eventually transition into designing their own sales proposal document, the simplest way to begin using SolarNexus is to leverage one of its sample sales proposal document templates for the initial phase of implementation.

Depending on your company, our sample documents may not work for you. The best way to determine the viability of SolarNexus provided sales proposal templates is to generate a few in various sample project scenarios. After successfully running an analysis for a solution, go to the Docs screen and click the button to create a sales proposal. Select one of the SolarNexus' available templates and create a PDF. Review the contents to see if this presentation will work for your company, at least for the near term. If not try another. If none of the provided templates work for you, you can create your own. You can either copy one of SolarNexus' and edit it, or create one from scratch.

While SolarNexus provides this very powerful feature to create and modify document templates, to go beyond basic text editing you will need some HTML editing skills.  This is one of the reasons we recommend starting with the provided templates if possible, and later consider developing your own.
