DNV Accuracy Report

We’re excited to announce that our advanced production engine, Gemini, is now live, certified, and surpassing expectations. To ensure Gemini’s accuracy, we partnered with DNV, a global leader in quality and risk management. Their rigorous testing found Gemini to be incredibly precise, with a 99.9% accuracy rate in estimating solar production based on data from over 2,400 real-world installations. That’s a remarkable achievement!

As pulled from the available report:

“The systems in the production sample performed at 99.9% of SOLO’s estimated production over the measurement period (2019-2023), with a 0.06 standard deviation, demonstrating exceptional accuracy across all variables tested. The .06 standard deviation accounts for all of the real-world variations that will occur during the production forecasting calculations. This means that we’re not perfect, but we will be extremely close a very high percentage of the time.”
