Why didn't the design team place panels on an open roof plane?
There are a few reasons why our designers may leave a roof plane open, including:
The roof plane is too small to meet your company’s preferred minimum array module count.
The roof plane’s azimuth priority is set as Never in your company’s design preferences.
All of these preferences can be viewed in the Best Practices section of the customer’s information page. Keep in mind that these are editable by users with SAAS Owner permissions, so if you have any questions please reach out to your manager.
