Even if I’m making a quick change, why would I create a new pricing version instead of just editing the current version?
You would typically want to create a new version if you only want your changes to affect new proposals created going forward. For example, if you edit the Cash PPW in the current version (or any version), the cash price for ALL proposals created since the ‘Live Since’ date will be updated to reflect the new cash price. You may not want proposals that have been closed or already presented to homeowners paying with cash to be changed. Be cautious when editing the current pricing version as ALL proposals created between the applicable dates will be affected.
