How do inheritances work in Solo?

What is it?

Inheritance allows companies to imitate settings from another company (typically between a parent account and its subs). Inheritance for a setting means it matches and is updated simultaneously.

When inheritance is applied to an account, you are no longer able to manually adjust those settings. To do so, you would need to update the account the inheritance is coming from (and all it's other inheriting accounts) or break inheritance. Breaking the inheritance would mean the account is no longer updated in tandem.

Push vs. Pull inheritance

Pull inheritance means the company you are on, will receive the settings from the company you select. All super admins have access to this feature and it is the most commonly used type of inheritance.

Push inheritance means the company you are on will give the settings to the company or companies you select. This feature is only available to the proposal support supervisors and a few other super admins. It is not a feature all super admins have available.
