How does Solo design proposals?
Solo has a large team of trained proposalists who use an in-house design tool to build proposals. Images from Google or Nearmaps are used to provide an image of the house. We also input the customer's utility information provided by the sales rep in order to calculate savings and solar offset. To further help determine our production numbers, we are integrated with a government database called PV Watts which takes into account the area the house resides in to provide the sunlight hours which affects how much energy the system produces. We will follow rep-specific notes as long as they are in line with the company BP's and follow AHJ rules for the county the home resides in!
