How is the dealer fee calculated?
Dealer fees are always calculated last, meaning that all adders are added to the base price per watt, then dealer fees are added AFTER that. The equation to calculate dealer fees is this:
Loan Amount / (1 - .(dealer fee)) = New Loan Amount*
*Dealer fee can also be calculated with the PPW, using this equation:
Price Per Watt / (1 - .(dealer fee)) = New Price Per Watt
For example, if the dealer fee is 12% and the loan amount is $30,000:
$30,000 / .88 = $34,090.91
