How is the System Size Calculated?
The equation that is used to get the system size is this:
(Number of Panels x Panel Wattage) ÷ 1000 = System Size in kW
In the example below, the proposal is using 17 panels that are 340W, which plugged into the equation gets this:
(17 x 440W) = 7480W ÷ 1000 = 7.48kW
