Navigating the Proposal's Graph Page
The graph page will show you a detailed view of your customer's energy usage throughout the year, including where they're getting their energy, how a battery is playing a part, and what's being imported/exported. This page breaks this information down a few different ways, click below to learn more:
To update your customer's energy consumption data, follow this step-by-step HERE.
Viewing Monthly and Annual Data
When you first open the proposal, the graph page will default to the Annual view, which displays the total monthly usage, compared to the estimated solar production, of each month.
To view the data for a specific month, you can use the menu at the bottom to select the month you'd like to view. You can also scroll through each month using the arrows on the sides.
For each month, you'll see the kWH breakdown for the following information, by hour of day:
- Consumption
- Production
- Imports
- Exports
You can either view this as a daily average or monthly average (learn more in this section).
When a battery is being used, the information will update to reflect battery usage. You'll also see the kWh breakdown for the battery charge, and you'll see the battery's max capacity.
Hovering your cursor over a certain time will show the exact values for each data point:
Daily Average vs. Monthly Total
Using the toggle in the top right, you're able to toggle whether you'd like the values to display kWh energy information as a daily average:
or as a monthly total:
The proposal will always default to daily average, but you're able to toggle it as needed.
Viewing the Energy Flow Breakdown
Toggling the "Energy Flow View" change the monthly view to show what parts of the customer's energy usage is being provided by different sources (PV production, the battery, or utility grid).
Hovering over each hour's data will show the exact breakdown between sources.
