Requesting a CAD Revision

  1. If you need to make a change, you can request a revision. Revisions can be billable or non-billable depending on what is being requested. Revisions have the same SLA as a permit packet (24 hours).
  2. If the whole permit packet is not complete, you cannot request a revision. Once the status reads "Permit Packet Complete", you can request a revision. There will be a "Request Revision" button available above the notes section.

  3. Select the type of revision request. There are six options. Make sure to fill in all sections and upload all files. If you only have one file or none, you may upload a blank screenshot, but make sure you make sure to be descriptive in the revision notes.

CAD - City Rejection

If there is a city rejection, please provide a rejection letter from the AHJ/utility and upload in the Revision letter section. Emails, screenshots or redlines are highly preferred. The reason for this is to mark the revision as non-billable. If you do not have a rejection letter, the AHJ/utility/inspector’s contact info will suffice if we ever need to contact the AHJ/utility for additional clarification. If neither is provided, the revision will be marked as billable.

Electrical Change

If you are changing the interconnection method, please be descriptive and provide photos if available. If it does not work, we will impede and let you know what our recommendations are.

  1. If you need to add engineering (available for any type of revision request), check off "ENG Restamp".

  2. Once requested, the revision will open a window with the date and time requested. If you realize you want to add on an ENG stamp and/or need to add to the revision notes, please reach out to our Customer Support team and we can add it for you. If it is too late, we will let you know and you will need another revision.

  3. The completed revision file will be uploaded under "CAD Revision File". Once the CAD revision is complete, if engineering is requested, it will be pushed to the engineer. Once engineering is completed, it will be uploaded under the "Complete ENG Revision file".
