What does the status of my CAD mean?

CAD: The request has been submitted

CAD in Progress: It's been picked up by a designer on my team.

CAD Lead: You've started the CAD request but haven't submitted it to the CAD team yet.

CAD On Hold: Extra time is needed on the request due to the research required. Typically this is due to the equipment being nonstandard or because of the AHJ/Utility requirements.

CAD Revision: Some change was required by the partner so they sent through a revision request, this status puts it into our revision queue where that subsection of our design team will work on it.

ENG: It is currently waiting to be reviewed by an engineer for either a structural or electrical stamp.

Engineering Impeded: The engineer found some kind of issue that they require additional information or additional photos to resolve. An impede notification will be sent to the Permit Coordinator.

Engineering in Progress: It is currently being reviewed by an engineer.

ENG Revision: Similar to CAD revision, if anything is needing to be changed in the engineering such as the wind speed or snow load used to be calculated it can be submitted as a revision to our engineering team.

Impeded: The CAD team is sending the job back to the partner as we are missing information that is needed to complete the design or we are requesting approval to change something from the original request.

Permit Packet Complete: Every step of the CAD has been completed including design, engineering, and permit and it is now ready for the partner.

Canceled: The job is no longer moving, usually due to a customer cancellation.
