Where does Solo get its utility information from?

Solo has a research team dedicated to getting detailed information for all utility companies across the nation. Utilities already listed in Solo are reviewed regularly with our most popular utilities being updated semiannually or even quarterly in some cases, and new utilities are being added constantly. Utility pricing updates are gathered from the specific utility company’s website and/or by phone, talking with solar representatives from the Utility. 

If we ever do not have a utility company in our system, they are likely a rural company, and when entered in as a custom utility, our research team begins to add them to the platform.

If you believe the rates are not current, or if you would like to request a new utility company be added, please contact utility research via utilityresearch@gosolo.io to request verification of rates, NEM, etc.  

While, we don’t have customer facing access to our utility profiles, there is a 'Utility Bill info' tab that can be added to the proposal sidebar. This will display those rates broken down with other charges or credits. You can learn more about this proposal feature. HERE
