Release Notes

New Feature Friday: September 22

Happy Friday! Take a look at what's new and what's been updated within Solo.

Update Overview

  • Batteries V2
  • LightReach Updates

What You'll See

Batteries V2

  • No back-up pricing
    • Allows the company to set pricing for batteries with and without backup capabilities
  • TOU in Other States
    • The original release of the battery tool was only available in California. It’s now available nationwide.
  • Prioritizing discharging when a day has an export rate higher than all import rates
    • We now prioritize using the battery to export back to the grid any day where there are export rates that have a higher value than the highest import rate. California homeowners will see the biggest benefits due to the high export rates in September.
  • Quantity Selector on the Carousel
    • We added a quantity selector on the carousel under the estimated savings. When the quantity is adjusted on the carousel, the estimated savings should be updated. The quantity should tied to the battery.

  • Additional Warranties
    • The 'Additional Warranty' section will display when a battery is selected and there is an available warranty for that battery. The warranties should have a checkbox to add them to the proposal.

    • You can add additional warranties in MissionControl. Click HERE to follow a step-by-step!

  • Charge Power and Discharge Power in the calculation
    • To get a more accurate savings calculation we incorporated a battery's charge and discharge power into the savings calculation.
  • Battery Backup Only
    • On the Self-Service Batteries page and the Allowed Batteries page in the company settings, we now allow companies to set a price if a battery is being used for backup and set a different price for the same battery if it is not being used for backup.

LightReach Updates

  • State License Field
    • Sales reps can now input a single license number for states that require a license

  • Mix/Max Pricing & Utilities List
    •  Owners may request to set LightReach pricing ranges and toggle proposal information on or off. Reach out to your account manager or support for more information!
    • Also for owners, in the selected LightReach finance option settings page, below the advanced settings accordion, there will be a separate accordion that lists the approved utilities. Stay tuned for a walkthrough on the help center!
